FULL TIME
OpportunityA heavy civil construction team is seeking an Equipment Manager to oversee all equipment operations supporting the CNY C6 Project.
This role is responsible for managing equipment scheduling, maintenance coordination, fleet operations, and field support to ensure all equipment, trucks, and resources are operating efficiently across active construction areas. The Equipment Manager will work closely with operations leadership, field teams, mechanics, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain uptime, resolve issues proactively, and support project execution.

Equipment Operations & Management
- Manage equipment operations tied directly to the CNY C6 Project across all phases
- Oversee equipment scheduling, fleet utilization, and operational support
- Ensure equipment availability aligns with project needs and production goals
Maintenance & Field Support Coordination
- Coordinate maintenance activities, repair needs, and breakdown response
- Work closely with mechanics, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely resolutions
- Track equipment performance, repair status, and support requests
Project Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with operations leadership, field supervision, and project teams
- Participate in planning meetings, coordination discussions, and project updates
- Maintain communication flow between all stakeholders involved in equipment operations
Operational Planning & Issue Resolution
- Identify and address equipment shortages, maintenance issues, and operational conflicts
- Proactively resolve issues before impacting production or project schedule
- Support active work areas including roadway operations, structures, and milestone-driven activities
Tracking & Performance Monitoring
- Track equipment usage, maintenance history, and operational needs
- Coordinate with Procurement, Safety, Quality, Scheduling, and Project Controls teams
- Ensure equipment operations remain aligned with project priorities and milestones
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in equipment management, heavy civil construction, or related field
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or roadway projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment operations and fleet management
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and field teams
- Experience with equipment tracking, maintenance coordination, and scheduling
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
