The selected candidate will collaborate with and oversee a team of highly-qualified and experienced clinicians in providing care to both pediatric and adult clients. The selected candidate will serve in a leadership capacity, overseeing all nursing staff, including the RN Supervisors, as well as Clinical Administrative Assistants. This individual will work directly with the Administrator in implementing staff development activities focused on quality improvement, as well as monitor and evaluate all aspects of care delivery to ensure that Continuous Quality Improvement Action Plans are implemented and monitored.Job Duties and Responsibilities include:Facilitating visionary, out of the box thinking throughout workflow processesKnows, understand, incorporates, and demonstrates the Chesapeake Home Health Care Mission, Vision, and Values through leadership, practices, and decisionsReport directly to the Director of Nursing and participate in meetings with corporate leadershipConduct supervisory visits of skilled nurses and conduct on-site training as neededReview physician's orders for safety and complianceDevelops, updates, and maintains the plan of care (485s) and make necessary revisions as deemed appropriatePerform chart audits to ensure adherence to state guidelinesCreating, modifying, and maintaining nursing care plansProvide medical assessments for new and existing clientsConduct clinical skill assessment/interviewsAssist with Quality Assurance and compliance training programsDirect and champion patient-safety effortsCommunicate with the DON and Clinical staff of notable situations requiring more extensive training or actionSkills & AbilitiesEducation:Bachelor's Degree preferredExperience:2-4 years relevant experienceOne year of recent Pediatric ExperienceCertification/Licensure:
