Job Description
About the Company
Until is a moonshot company building a “pause button” for biology. Our near-term focus is organ-scale reversible cryopreservation: preserving donated organs at subzero temperatures without ice formation, then rewarming them uniformly for transplant. By solving this grand challenge, we’re laying the foundation for whole-body reversible cryopreservation, giving patients a bridge to future cures.
To achieve our goal, we are assembling an interdisciplinary team to develop perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware.
We envision a future where no transplantable organ is lost to logistics, and no terminal diagnosis is final because patients can safely wait for future medicine to arrive.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly reliable, detail-oriented Receiving Coordinator to support lab operations on a part-time (minimum of 20 hours per week, afternoons preferred) or full-time basis through a hands-on role dedicated to receiving, organizing, and disseminating a high volume of lab equipment and supplies. This is a position ideal for someone who enjoys being in the middle of things — helping our receiving systems run smoothly and ensure three-way matching in our procurement process to enable our fast-moving, early-stage biotech company.
Assist with day-to-day lab operations errands (receiving packages, restocking supplies, returns, equipment coordination)
Coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and deliveries related to lab work (samples, equipment, materials)
Help maintain lab organization and cleanliness standards
Support inventory tracking and basic lab logistics
Have a can-do attitude and are happy to roll up your sleeves
Highly dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Comfortable with hands-on, in-person work and running errands
Able to follow instructions carefully and execute reliably
Comfortable working in a lab environment (training provided)
Interest in biotech, operations, or startups is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment
Generous medical, dental and vision insurance coverage (if you work 20+ hours/wk)
Sick pay
Access to a 401(k) retirement savings plan
Daily lunch and dinners, plus a variety of snacks
On-site fitness center
Quarterly team social budget
