Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Used Car Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced automotive environment. As a Used Car Sales Associate, you will engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the car buying process while maintaining a strong knowledge of our inventory and the automotive market.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
• Conduct thorough presentations of vehicles, highlighting features and benefits.
• Negotiate sales terms and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of inventory control and market trends.
• Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and optimize inventory management.
• Perform outbound sales activities to generate leads and expand the customer base.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear information about financing options, warranties, and service plans.
• Participate in public speaking engagements or community events to promote the dealership and its offerings.
• Collaborate with the sales management team to meet sales targets and improve overall performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or outbound sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective inventory control and sales analysis.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong public speaking skills for engaging presentations to customers or at events.
• A passion for automobiles and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or marketing is advantageous.
