Applicants must meet one of the following:

• 12 college credits in Early Childhood or School Age Education plus 12 months of experience with children 
• Associate's degree in early childhood, Child/Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child & Family Services.
• Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Certificate.
• Community College of Vermont Child Care Certificate plus 12 months of qualifying experience.

Additional requirements include:

• Strong communication skills.
• Availability Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Experience with toddler-aged children is preferred.
• Familiarity with emergent curriculum is preferred.

• Sense of humor.
• Vermont Orientation Training
• Mandated Reporter Training
• SEED & Sew Certification
