AP/AR Specialist

CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join an exciting organization in Queens, NY. This in-office role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong AP/AR experience and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and expense reports
• Prepare ACH, wire, and check payment runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and issue customer invoices
• Post and apply payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts
• Maintain vendor and customer records
• Assist with AP and AR subledger-to-GL reconciliations
• Support month-end close and audit preparation
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for daily accounting functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $65,000 - $72,000
