Horizon Staffing is hiring compassionate and dependable Nursing Assistants to work overnight at a residential eating disorder treatment facility serving children and adolescents in Chester, NJ. If you're passionate about helping young people in a supportive healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Perform routine patient observations and overnight safety checks.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Support patients during meals, snacks, and evening routines following treatment guidelines.
• Conduct patient observations, including bathroom monitoring, in accordance with facility policies.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
• Provide compassionate support while promoting a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate effectively during shift change.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, adolescents, or in a healthcare, residential, or patient care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients throughout a 12-hour shift.
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
