Lease Administrator

The Atlantic Group has partnered with a real estate investment firm in the Rye, NY area. They have an immediate need for a Lease Administration Analyst to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

Lease Administration Analyst

Location: Rye, NY

Reports to: VP, Lease Administration

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lease Administration Analyst to manage lease administration, tenant billing, expense reconciliations, and lease compliance. The ideal candidate has experience with lease administration software, strong analytical skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Experience using AI tools to improve workflows is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare and process tenant billings for CAM, real estate taxes, insurance, utilities, and other lease-related expenses.

-Perform tenant expense reconciliations, analyze variances, and maintain accurate supporting documentation.

-Research and resolve tenant billing inquiries and disputes by interpreting lease agreements.

-Abstract, review, and maintain lease documents, ensuring accurate billing and compliance with lease terms.

-Partner with Accounting, Property Management, Leasing, Legal, and other internal teams to support lease administration.

-Monitor reconciliation schedules, prioritize workloads, and identify opportunities to improve processes, including leveraging AI tools.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree required

-2–5+ years of lease administration experience, preferably within retail real estate

-Strong understanding of lease language, financial terms, and tenant reconciliations

-Experience with MRI, Yardi, JDE, or similar lease administration software

-Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

-Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot is a plus
