The Nutrition Services Aide supports the Dining Services team by assisting with meal preparation, tray assembly, and maintaining high sanitation standards in the kitchen. This role helps ensure residents receive meals that meet their dietary requirements while maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful dining environment.
Position Type: Part Time
Salary: $17 / Hour
Schedule: 3:30 PM to 7:00 pm (10.5 hours per week, Every Other Weekend)
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare meal trays according to resident-specific dietary requirements and special meal requests.
Portion desserts, salads, and entrée items into dishes for service.
Assist with meal preparation and food assembly tasks as directed by kitchen leadership.
Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout kitchen and food service areas.
Follow all local, state, and federal food safety and health regulations.
Support a welcoming and respectful dining environment for residents and staff.
Ability to remain focused and task-oriented in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members.
Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction.
