Traveling Field rework technician - Now Hiring

Our client, in the utility and renewable energy industry, is seeking a Field Rework to join their team. As a Field Rework, you will be part of the technical repair support supporting solar system maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Rework

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $17.50

What's the Job?

• Perform backsheet and string connector repairs following SOP guidelines.
• Conduct reliability tests and verify repairs to meet company standards.
• Prepare and set up tools and equipment at repair sites, ensuring all resources are ready for efficient operations.
• Operate tools such as soldering irons, cutters, and other field repair equipment safely and effectively.
• Document repair activities and provide comprehensive reports on work completed.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or solar systems is preferred.
• Prior experience in solar system repairs, electrical systems, or similar technical fields is advantageous.
• Familiarity with tools and materials used in field repairs, as outlined in company SOPs.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety protocols and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company-provided or rental vehicles.
