Production Coordinator

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 10pm to 6am 
Pay Rate: $20/hr to $24/hr (includes paid lunch/breaks) (pay dependent on experience level
Location: Dayton, Ohio 45404
Experience: 2+ Years of experience working within a production/manufacturing environment; lead or supervisory experience a plus!

Production Coordinator - The Opportunity
As a Production Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products exceed industry standards. You will work with cross-functional teams, operate cutting-edge technology, and take on rewarding challenges in our manufacturing facility.

Production Coordinator Job Responsibilities

• Assembly & Fabrication: Perform manual tasks related to the assembly of components and operate basic machinery like drills and grinders.
• Material Handling: Safely move, lift, and transport materials and finished products to assist production stations.
• Quality & Safety: Inspect finished products for defects, adhere to all safety protocols, and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform routine cleaning of tools.
• Documentation: Accurately record production and inventory data.
• Directing the Team:  Help support the Production Team Lead in ensuring that the daily production goals are met and that every 2nd shift team member has clear direction for their responsibilities.  Help coach team members and substitute for the Production Team Lead as necessary.

Production Coordinator Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred.  Metal Fabrication experience preferred.
• Skills: Forklift and machine operation experience required.  Welding experience (MIG and/or TIG) would be highly preferred
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Mindset: A collaborative spirit, good communication skills, and a willingness to cross-train in different production areas.
