Purchasing Coordinator
The Purchasing Coordinator supports the Purchasing Department by completing daily tasks under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to: processing purchase orders, maintaining purchasing records, monitoring supplier deliveries and overdue orders, helping resolve invoice and receiving errors, and assisting Buyers in daily tasks to meet deadlines.
How You will Make an Impact:
Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on overdue deliveries.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmations and shipment status.
Assist in resolving receiving discrepancies and invoice issues.
Maintain purchasing files and supplier records.
Communicate shortages and delivery updates to Production and Operations.
Support inventory management efforts and assist with physical inventories.
Provide administrative support for Purchasing Department projects.
Monitor and maintain office supplies.
At the direction of buyers, create, process, and distribute purchase orders from approved requisitions for MRO and supplies
Verify pricing, quantities, freight terms, and delivery dates on any purchase orders created
Review MRP reports and assist with material planning activities as required in the absence of Buyers
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
One to three years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or manufacturing administration is preferred.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications is highly desirable.
Equivalent experience may be accepted by the Director of Purchasing and Human Resources Manager.

Salary:
$40,000k to $50,000K/year
