Outsource is currently looking for an Audio/Visual Field Engineer/ Service Technician for a great opportunity in the San Diego Area. This is an immediate opportunity! Our client is growing and has an excellent reputation in the A/V industry. THIS IS NOT AN EVENT BASED POSITION. We are looking for candidates that have permanent installation/programming/commissioning experience.
Audio/Visual Field Engineer Job Details:
- Provide high level field service on various Audio/Visual equipment.
- Control system and user interface programming and commissioning.
- Install, commission, troubleshoot/test control system programs.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Assist with system testing and commissioning.
- Work with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, etc.
- Create service reports for clients.
- Partner with the Engineering Team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Audio/Visual Field Engineer Qualifications:
- At least five years of high level Audio/Visual SERVICE experience in Commercial environments.
- CTS Certification a plus.
- Crestron experience and/or certification is preferred.
- Biamp, CleraOne, QSX, Symetrix experience a plus.
- Experience communicating with customers at a high level.
- Experience troubleshooting system components.
- Experience commissioning systems.
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
