Lead Estimator

JSG is recruiting a Lead Estimator for our client in Houston TX
We are searching for a dynamic Lead Estimator to take charge of cost estimation across all project phases, from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with top-tier industry experts, shape project budgets, and contribute to vital infrastructure that powers communities. Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Finance, or a related field, OR 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in an estimating environment, with the ability to develop estimates across all project phases.
• Proficiency with estimating systems such as Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) or similar, and working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
• Certification with AACE, PMI, or CMAA is preferred.
• Familiarity with industry best practices, stage-gated project processes, and EPC scopes.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in energy, power grid, or utilities sectors.
• Skills in quantitative risk analysis and cost management software.
• Knowledge of BIM and digital estimating tools.
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and lead large-scale estimates.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to support travel as needed.
• Certification in AACE, PMI, or CMAA is advantageous.
• Must be comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
