Job Description
Quantum Education Professionals is seeking multiple full-time and Part-time School based Academic Evaluators in the Kansas City metro area.

Pay Ranges: $40-$46/hourly $54,000-$62,200
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate and support the school psychologists throughout the evaluation process to ensure appropriate communication is established between all team members.
2. Administer relevant academic assessments, as needed, to provide additional data and understanding of the whole child.
3. Responsible for coordinating the evaluation process a. Send parents appropriate documents in accordance with District Policy and IDEA regarding Notice of Meetings, Consent to Evaluate, etc. b. Determine meeting date and time and communicate with all team members to ensure availability prior to sending out the Notice of Meeting. c. Provide documents, such as teacher interview forms and paper parent interview forms, and rating scale forms (when necessary).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of state and federal policies and regulations related to special education
• Experience with a variety of formal and informal student assessment measures regarding academic evaluations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Google Apps
• Effective consultation skills
• Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, and parents
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: • Must hold or be eligible for a Kansas Department of Education License with Special Education endorsement.
Requirements:
- Kansas Special Education license or license as an Educational Diagnostician or willingness to obtain
Or
- School Psychological Examiner license
