We are seeking an experienced, motivated Catering Manager to join our growing team. We produce a wide range of events—from intimate dinners to large weddings, galas, and corporate functions.

Position Overview

The Catering Manager oversees daily operations and manages events from planning through execution and follow-up. This role requires strong organization, leadership, and a client-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily catering operations
• Plan and execute events from prep through breakdown
• Manage client communication and post-event follow-up
• Collaborate with the owner, chef, vendors, and venues
• Recruit, schedule, and supervise event staff
• Assist with menu development, ordering, inventory, and food cost control
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance
• Support business development and marketing efforts

Qualifications

• Prior catering experience required
• SERV Safe and TIPS Certified (Allergen Certification preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and social media platforms
• Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Availability for nights and weekends
