Sit down Forklift Driver

The Sit Down Forklift Driver plays a vital role in supporting the warehouse team by efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory materials. This position requires regular equipment inspections, accurate record keeping, and close coordination with the shift supervisor to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport and stack materials safely and efficiently
• Move inventory items as directed to support warehouse workflows
• Maintain organized warehouse storage by arranging materials systematically
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure forklift safety and functionality
• Document inventory movements and maintain accurate records regularly
• Report operational status and issues directly to the shift supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in forklift operation
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Strong attention to detail
• Teamwork and effective communication skills
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
