Packaging Assembler
Fort Collins, CO
**3 month Project - could go longer depending on performance and attendance
Schedule: Monday – Friday 6 am – 2:30 pm
Pay: $18.50/hour
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about quality? Join our manufacturing team as a Packaging Assembler, where you'll play an important role in the production and packaging of injectable pharmaceutical products. In this position, you'll help ensure that life-changing medications are packaged accurately, safely, and to the highest quality standards for our patients.
What You'll Do
As a Packaging Assembler, you will support manufacturing and packaging operations in a cleanroom environment while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the setup and operation of labeling equipment for pre-filled syringes and vials
- Supporting the setup and operation of semi-automatic packaging equipment
- Performing in-process inspections, sampling, and testing to ensure product quality
- Conducting manual assembly and packaging activities
- Assisting with cleaning, environmental monitoring, and maintenance of process rooms
- Performing setup, operation, and cleanup of needle-cleaning processes
- Accurately completing production documentation and batch records
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) with a "Right First Time" mindset
- Participating in required safety and hazardous waste training
- Supporting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Performing other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow written procedures and production documentation
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or production environment
- Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
This role requires the ability to:
- Work in an HZ3/HZ4 cleanroom environment and wear required gowning and protective equipment
- Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds
- Perform repetitive tasks and manual assembly work
- Reach and perform tasks above shoulder level when needed
- Work in a fast-paced production environment
- Manufacturing and cleanroom environment
- Shift-based schedule
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
