Overview:
builds industrial machinery (like pumps and compressors) according to strict blueprints and Standard Work Instructions. Key responsibilities include using manual dexterity to fit close-tolerance parts, operating pneumatic tools, and testing assembled units for quality control
The ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring devices like micrometers and calipers
Skills and Experience:
- Reading blueprints
- Using precise measuring tools
- Operating test equipment
- Managing parts inventory in SAP
- Assembling small pump components
- 1-2 years of manufacturing and assembly experience
- Experience with blueprints, calipers, micrometers
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing for extended periods
