Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Colorado Department of Education Special Education (CDE SPED) licensure required
• Proven experience or strong interest in serving elementary-aged children with mild to moderate disabilities
• Knowledge of IEP processes, compliance protocols, and progress monitoring
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
• Employ differentiated instruction strategies to address diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth in both group and individualized settings
• Embrace school values and actively contribute to a positive team environment
