Job Summary
We are seeking three highly detail-oriented HR Data Entry Specialists for an on-site temp-to-hire opportunity in the Torrey Pines area of San Diego, CA. This role supports a Shared Services HR team within the aerospace and defense industry and is ideal for professionals who enjoy high-volume transactional work, structured processes, and accuracy-driven HR data management.
This HR Data Entry Specialist position is approximately 95% data entry and focuses on processing personnel transactions, maintaining HRIS records, validating HR documentation, and supporting compliance-related HR records. The work environment offers supportive leadership, clear expectations, positive teamwork, and the opportunity to build experience in a stable, process-focused HR operations setting. Candidates who value precision, confidentiality, and consistency will be well positioned for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain employee records in the HRIS with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Process high-volume HR transactions, including transfers, promotions, terminations, organizational changes, and other employee lifecycle updates.
- Review submitted HR actions for completeness and accuracy before finalizing system changes.
- Validate I-9 documentation and employment eligibility records to support federal and corporate compliance requirements.
- Research and resolve data discrepancies independently while maintaining quality control standards.
- Maintain digital employee files and HR records in accordance with company policies and data privacy standards.
