Job Description
A growing company in Starkville, MS is seeking an HR Generalist to join its Human Resources team. This role will have a strong focus on recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding new employees while also supporting a variety of day-to-day HR functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and enjoys building relationships with candidates, employees, and hiring managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced environment while gaining broad exposure across multiple areas of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to build strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and pre-employment activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance throughout the recruiting process.
- Support employee relations, policy administration, performance management, and other general HR initiatives.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate HR documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration, training coordination, employee engagement activities, and HR compliance.
- Support HR projects and process improvements as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience with a strong emphasis on recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
