Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (OR – Labor & Delivery)

Location: Englewood, NJ
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (August 3, 2026 – November 2, 2026)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Labor & Delivery Operating Room experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected New Jersey hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative surgical team providing exceptional care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.

Must Have

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery Surgical Tech experience
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and obstetrical procedures
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery OR

Nice to Have

• Previous travel assignment experience
• Experience assisting with C-sections and emergency obstetrical procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with electronic documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for Labor & Delivery surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff during cesarean sections and other obstetrical surgeries
• Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning properly
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection prevention standards
• Anticipate surgical team needs while supporting efficient workflow throughout procedures
