Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients before surgery and ensure readiness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding pre-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
• BSN Preferred
• Current Kansas RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
• Recent hospital experience preferred
