Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced Leasing & Property Operations Specialist to support multifamily communities throughout San Diego County’s South Bay area. This role focuses on leasing, resident relations, property inspections, vendor coordination, and administrative compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Advertise vacancies through AppFolio, Zillow, Apartments.com, social media, and property signage.
• Respond to leads, conduct tours, process applications, prepare leases, and support occupancy goals.
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and vacant-unit preparation.
• Maintain accurate resident records and document communications and work orders in AppFolio.
• Conduct daily property inspections and maintain clean, presentable common areas.
• Coordinate approved maintenance requests and third-party vendor services.
• Submit inspection reports, invoices, photos, and move-in/move-out documentation.
• Assist with legal notices, delinquency reporting, and eviction processes as directed.
• Follow Fair Housing laws, California landlord-tenant requirements, and company policies.
• Provide leasing, resident, maintenance, and property-condition updates to management.
• Assist at other South Bay properties as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of multifamily leasing experience.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and California landlord-tenant laws.
• Property management software experience; AppFolio preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and travel between assigned properties.
• California real estate license preferred but not required.
