Elementary Special Education Teacher - Peyton, CO

Qualifications:

• Current CDE license with a mild to moderate endorsement

Role Overview:

• Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction for 2nd-5th grade students
• Develop and follow IEPs, assessing and tracking student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to implement effective strategies
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as required

This full-time assignment begins August 3, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, with 40 hours per week over 5 days.
