Job Title: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager - ConstructionJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to oversee all QA/QC activities for the construction of workforce housing supporting a large-scale data center project. The successful candidate will ensure all construction work complies with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards, while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the project site.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project's QA/QC program.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for compliance.
  • Conduct daily field inspections and quality audits across all phases of construction.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, and Subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Manage inspection and test plans (ITPs), material inspections, and quality documentation.
  • Track deficiencies, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and punch lists.
  • Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Verify work is completed in accordance with applicable building codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections, testing agencies, and commissioning activities.
  • Review and approve quality-related turnover packages and closeout documentation.
  • Maintain detailed quality records and reports for project leadership and client representatives.
  • Support project turnover and owner acceptance processes.
  • Mentor field teams and subcontractors on quality standards and best practices.
Essential Skills
  • 7+ years of QA/QC experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience managing QA/QC programs on projects valued at $20M+.
  • Experience overseeing subcontractor quality performance.
  • Strong background in construction management, quality assurance, and quality control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of modular buildings, workforce housing, data centers, or mission-critical facilities preferred.
  • Experience with project closeout, commissioning support, and turnover documentation.
  • Certified Construction Quality Manager (CQM-C).
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • OSHA 30.
  • CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
  • PMP Certification.
Work Environment

This role requires working on a remote construction site, often in isolated locations. The work environment necessitates adherence to safety standards and appropriate attire for construction settings. The position involves coordination with various stakeholders and managing comprehensive documentation and reporting.

This is a Contract position based out of Mobeetie, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
