TRC Talent Solutions is looking for a passionate and proactive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to help drive and strengthen our safety culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and site leadership to develop, implement, and continuously improve programs that protect our employees and promote a safe, healthy workplace.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being visible on the production floor, coaching employees, leading safety initiatives, and making a meaningful impact on workplace safety. You'll play a key role in compliance efforts, hazard prevention, employee engagement, training, and continuous improvement while helping shape the future of our EHS programs.

Responsibilities:
-Partnering with Operations and Engineering teams to strengthen safety performance and drive a proactive safety culture.
-Facilitating Safety Committee meetings and encouraging employee involvement in safety initiatives.
-Managing and improving Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs through regular reviews, updates, and audits.
-Coordinating and delivering safety training programs to ensure OSHA compliance and employee awareness.
-Conducting workplace audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and company standards.
-Supporting incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action development, and follow-up activities.
-Performing risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to identify opportunities for hazard reduction and process improvement.
-Assisting with the development and implementation of policies, programs, and projects that reduce workplace risks.
-Championing change management initiatives that foster employee engagement and accountability for safety.
-Supporting environmental, health, and safety management systems and ensuring compliance with company and ISO requirements.
-Tracking safety metrics and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.
-Serving as a resource for employees and leaders on EHS-related questions, concerns, and best practices.
 

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred.
-Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment is a plus.
-Knowledge of OSHA regulations and general EHS principles.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
-A collaborative mindset with a passion for developing a positive, people-first safety culture.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
-A commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and operational excellence.
