Laboratory Technologist (MLT/LVN/CLS)

Job Details:

• Title: Laboratory Technologist (MLT/LVN/CLS)
• Location: San Leandro, CA
• Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour (Based on experience) + Benefits
• Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  

-> Important: Must pick up and return the company van at each shift.

-> Responsibilities:

• Perform waived laboratory testing (Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular & Coagulation)
• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary collection
• Process specimens and enter patient demographics into the laboratory information system
• Perform quality control, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Monitor STAT testing turnaround times
• Review and verify abnormal results before reporting
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records
• Assist with inventory management and compliance requirements
• Operate a company vehicle when required
• Follow all laboratory safety and infection control protocols

-> Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• California Licensed Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) REQUIRED
• Valid California Driver's License with a good driving record
• Familiarity with laboratory workflow and specimen processing
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption)

Please Note: This position is NOT open to Phlebotomists unless they also hold an active California LVN, MLT, or CLS license.
