Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler responsible for efficiently placing materials in their proper locations within the plant. The role involves operating a forklift and pallet jack, understanding procedures and processing paperwork, and utilizing computer skills to operate paperless systems. You will become familiar with the plant layout to ensure products are delivered to the correct location and maintain a pace that supports plant operations.
Responsibilities- Ensure materials are placed in proper locations within the plant.
- Operate a forklift (30% of the time) and pallet jack (70% of the time).
- Understand procedures and process paperwork accurately.
- Utilize computer skills to operate paperless systems.
- Learn the plant layout to ensure proper product delivery.
- Maintain an operational pace that supports plant efficiency.
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
- 1+ years of forklift experience.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience in material handling, shipping, and receiving.
- Skills in inventory management.
- Prior experience in material handling is preferred.

Work EnvironmentThe position is for the 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11pm to 7am, with a $2.50/hour shift premium. Some 10-hour workdays will be required, with advance notice given a week ahead of time. Occasional Saturday shifts may be needed, also with a week's notice.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.72 - $23.72/hr.
