Job Description\n
We are seeking an experienced ER/Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join a Critical Access Hospital for a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires a flexible nurse who is comfortable caring for patients across multiple units, including the Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical floor.
\nAs a member of a small rural healthcare team, you'll provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating closely with nurses, LPNs, CNAs, and on-call crisis staff.
\nTypical Unit Environment\n

- Average inpatient census: 3–5 patients (occasionally up to 7–8) \n
- Typical staffing:\n
- \n
- 3 Nurses + 1 CNA per shift \n
- Occasionally 2 Nurses + 1 CNA \n
- May include 1 RN and 1 LPN working together \n
\n - Patient assignments are shared among staff. \n
- ER responsibilities are typically shared across the nursing team. \n
- Dedicated Crisis Nurse On-Call available every night for additional support. \n

- Active RN License \n
- Recent experience in both Emergency Room and Med-Surg\n
- \n
- Both specialties must be listed on the work history at the time of submission \n
\n - BLS (AHA) \n
- ACLS (AHA) \n
- TNCC (Required) \n
- NRP (AHA) preferred\n
- \n
- Must already have certification or provide proof of a scheduled class before submission \n
\n - Experience working in a Critical Access or rural hospital is preferred. \n
