American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Corpus Christi, TX, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience, C-section circulating ability, and active TX or compact RN licensure.

- Labor & Delivery/Antepartum unit located on the 2nd floor of the Women's Building \n
- Unit includes 19 labor beds, 5 OBED beds, 3 PACU beds, 3 surgical beds, and 8 antepartum beds \n
- Patient ratios: 2:1 for labor, 3:1 for OBED, 4:1 for antepartum, and 1:1 in the OR \n
- Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, OBED nurses, OR nurses, antepartum nurses, and labor nurses \n
- Procedures performed include C-sections, cerclage, BTL, and D&C for postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) only \n
- EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech \n
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM \n
- Up to four weekend shifts per month, with a minimum of two mandatory weekend shifts per month \n
- No on-call requirements \n
- Floating to the low-risk antepartum unit is required \n
- 13-week travel contract \n

- Active TX RN license or compact RN license required \n
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition, American Academy of Pediatrics card required), and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (Int. FM) — AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment \n
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced fetal monitoring certification, or NCCEFM, required for all L&D RNs \n
- Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience required \n
- Experience in OBED, C-section circulating, high-risk antepartum management, and labor required \n
- Ability to manage COVID-positive patients in labor, C-section, antepartum, and OBED settings \n
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs not accepted \n
- One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri) \n

- Advanced fetal monitoring (Advanced FM) experience is preferred and will be prioritized \n
- Candidates must have a team-oriented personality and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment \n
- Royal blue scrubs required; t-shirts are not permitted \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position \n
