American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1+ years of experience and NMTCB certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

  • Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving a Level 3 trauma center
  • \n
  • 300-bed facility serving patients of all ages
  • \n
  • 13-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • \n
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • \n
  • Weekend rotation every other week
  • \n
  • As-needed call requirements
  • \n
  • As-needed floating requirements
  • \n
  • Uses GE NM360 equipment
  • \n
  • Meditech EHR system
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Current BLS certification required
  • \n
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with NMTCB certification
  • \n
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
  • \n
  • License required if applicable
  • \n
  • Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • \n
  • Must be able to perform effectively in a stressful environment
  • \n
  • Experience with cardiac stress testing, venipuncture, and general nuclear medicine studies preferred
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Perform general nuclear medicine studies and diagnostic imaging procedures
  • \n
  • Black scrubs required; t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are not permitted
  • \n
  • Biweekly orientation held on Wednesdays
  • \n
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment
  • \n
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • \n
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
  • \n
