With over 35 years in business, the Delta-T Group has built a reputation for referring highly qualified professionals for rewarding short and long-term independent contract opportunities.One of our clients is seeking a Licensed School PsychologistCLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS Part-Time or Full-Scheduled RoleOnsite SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITYThe Licensed School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students, including evaluation, intervention, and consultation. The School Psychologist will collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and behavioral success.CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential
- Compliance with Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) requirements
- Understanding of child and adolescent development, learning processes, and mental health needs
- Two years of experience in a school setting preferred
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioralhealth and special education.
