Operating and maintaining blow molding machines: Set up, start up, and shut down machines while ensuring optimal production efficiency.
Performing mold changes and adjustments: Execute mold changes safely and efficiently, and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and output.
Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment: Monitor performance, identify issues, and perform minor repairs or maintenance to minimize downtime.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain accurate production and maintenance records, support preventative maintenance efforts, and promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment.What We’re Looking For

Job SummaryAre you a skilled and detail-oriented technician looking to take your career to the next level? We’re seeking an Experienced Plastic Mold Technician (II) to join our team in Walker, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our production operations, helping to ensure that all blow molding machines run safely, efficiently, and at top quality to meet customer expectations.
What You’ll Be DoingAs an Experienced Plastic Blow Mold Technician (II), your core responsibilities will include:
Operating and maintaining blow molding machines: Set up, start up, and shut down machines while ensuring optimal production efficiency.
Performing mold changes and adjustments: Execute mold changes safely and efficiently, and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and output.
Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment: Monitor performance, identify issues, and perform minor repairs or maintenance to minimize downtime.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain accurate production and maintenance records, support preventative maintenance efforts, and promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Mechanical proficiency: Ability to identify and address mechanical issues to ensure continuous machine performance.
Attention to detail: Essential for monitoring part quality, maintaining accuracy, and ensuring compliance with production specifications.
Team collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with maintenance and production teams.
