Job Summary:
The Loan Origination System (LOS) Admin/Developer will be responsible for managing the company's loan origination system, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively to support the mortgage origination process. They will be responsible for maintaining the system, troubleshooting issues, and providing training and support to users. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the system complies with all relevant regulations and procedures.
Duties/ Responsibilities:- Provide training and end user support related to our LOS system, ICE Encompass.
- Manage the company's LOS, including configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot issues related to the system, working with vendors and others as needed to resolve issues.
- Ensure that the system complies with all relevant regulations and procedures, including TRID, ATR/QM, and state-specific regulations.
- Work with other departments, including IT, compliance, and operations, to ensure that the system integrates effectively with other systems and processes.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement, including automating manual processes and streamlining workflows.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training materials.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments related to loan origination systems and technology.
- Help support LOS and Simple Nexus applications.
- Provide VIP service to staff and branches.
- Demonstrates NMS CHIPP philosophy in all interactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Comfortability supporting end users via phone and screenshare.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a system administrator or a related role
- Programming software knowledge – C Sharp and/or Visual Basic preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
