Locations: Bryan, TX
Hybrid role — minimum 1 day per week onsite.
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relay settings for SEL, GE, ABB, and similar relay platforms.
- Perform short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using CAPE, ASPEN, and ETAP.
- Conduct relay misoperation analysis using Wavewin and SEL SynchroWave.
- Develop and review NERC PRC compliance reports.
- Create relay settings for wide-area coordination and generator projects.
- Perform power system studies including load flow, grounding, transformer sizing, and short-circuit analysis.
- Apply NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
- Coordinate with project teams and clients to support successful project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with protective relaying, relay settings, and power system studies.
- Ability to read one-line diagrams, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Additional Information: Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Visa sponsorship may also be provided where needed. While hybrid candidates are preferred, remote candidates will be considered based on experience and overall fit for the role.
