Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at ProValidus Medical Staffing. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with us, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert healthcare services and improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Medication & Treatment Administration – Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
Patient Monitoring & Reporting – Observe residents’ conditions, document care accurately, and promptly report changes to the Nursing Supervisor and/or Physician.
Shift Handover & Communication – Provide clear and thorough resident status updates to oncoming shifts, supervisors, and nursing staff.
Physician Order Execution – Properly transcribe and carry out physician orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Infection Control & Safety – Follow all infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Inventory Management – Assist in monitoring and maintaining supplies, medications, and medical equipment.
Quality Improvement – Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and facility Operations.
Resident Care & Comfort – Provide compassionate nursing care that prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
Clinical Rounds & Problem-Solving – Conduct routine rounds to observe residents, address concerns, and implement effective solutions.
Interdepartmental Collaboration – Effectively communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
Customer Service & Resident Rights – Uphold a high standard of service while respecting resident rights and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Active LPN License in the state of New York (required).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A caring and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
