Our client, Chelsea Milling Company - JIFFY, is seeking a dedicated Mixing Operator to join their team. As a Mixing Operator, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting the Mixing Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mixing Operator

Location: Chelsea, MI

Pay Range: $18.30 per hour 

Shift: 11:00pm-7:00pm

What's the Job?

• Mix batches of products ensuring the correct ingredients and quantities are used according to recipe specifications.
• Operate control panels and scales accurately to feed ingredients into the mixer.
• Monitor ingredient quality and report any contamination or non-conforming products immediately.
• Test and verify batch quality, ensuring compliance with company standards before releasing to the Packaging Department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and staging ingredients for changeovers.

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with physical tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a proactive attitude.
• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
