Job Description

Walter L. Cohen College Prep is searching for a High School Math Teacher for the 2022 - 20123 school year. This individual will be expected to provide an educational atmosphere where scholars of various academic levels can develop a strong understanding and appreciation for the subject matter. He/she will create an environment that encourages learning and will explore various academic concepts.

Responsibilities

Design classroom instruction using research-based strategies
Frequently analyze results from multiple sources to drive instruction
Work with students to remediate gaps
Maintain school culture of high behavioral expectations
Maintain frequent communication with student families

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (required).
Teacher Certification or certification eligible (preferred).
Background and/or content related coursework (required).
Experience working in urban schools (preferred)
Solutions-Oriented: concentrates on finding ways to solve problems and improve systems
Work ethic: possesses a strong willingness to work hard and long hours to get the job done
Intelligence: learns quickly, demonstrates ability to quickly and proficiently absorb new information
Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work well in a team

Benefits:
