Class A CDL Local Truck Driver

The Semi Local Truck Driver is responsible for safely picking up and transporting used tires over local routes while working as part of a driving team. This role emphasizes adherence to safety regulations, proper vehicle maintenance, and excellent customer interaction to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. A day in this job requires starting at our Trenton location with daily pick up of used tires from multiple customers with same day return to the Trenton location. This is a Monday thru Friday position with occasional Saturday pick up or delivery. Must live with driving distance of Trenton, FL with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct local pick up of tires on established routes
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections prior to and after trips
• Secure loads to prevent damage during transportation
• Comply with all safety and transportation regulations
• Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Engage professionally with customers during deliveries

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial truck driving
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
