Insurance Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative
Group Marketing Services is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you'll support agents and clients by providing exceptional customer service, processing insurance transactions, and assisting with day-to-day administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Process insurance quotes, new business applications, renewals, and agent contracting paperwork.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls appropriately, and provide professional, courteous assistance to clients and agents.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving billing and service issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients, agents, and insurance carriers.
- Support agents with quoting, policy servicing, and retention efforts.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other administrative documents while maintaining accurate records and office files.
- Assemble and distribute broker kits, marketing materials, and other communications.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, advertising efforts, and community outreach events.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and policy activity.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong working knowledge of office technology and standard administrative procedures
- Experience operating common office equipment
- Previous health insurance experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Job Type
- Full-time, 35-hour workweek
- Monday through Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM
Salary
· $16 hourly, commensurate on experience and skill level
