Position: Retirement and Benefits Associate (Temporary)
Location: Fort Worth, TX | Onsite
Compensation:$26.00–$28.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Assignment: Temporary | Approximately Mid-August through Early December (3–4 Months)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the HR Benefits inbox and respond to employee and retiree inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist employees and retirees with benefits-related questions, including medical plans, Medicare, enrollment, eligibility, and claims resolution.
• Maintain accurate benefits records and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality of employee information.
• Collaborate with benefit vendors and internal departments to resolve benefits issues and support reporting activities.
• Analyze benefits data and prepare reports using intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Support benefits administration processes, audits, and continuous process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation while delivering exceptional customer service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in employee benefits administration, Human Resources, or a related customer service-focused role.
• Experience supporting retiree benefits and Medicare is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with benefits enrollment, claims resolution, HRIS systems, and benefits administration processes.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Microsoft Access
• HRIS Systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF functions, conditional formatting, and data analysis.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HRIS.
• Knowledge of COBRA administration.
• Experience preparing reports and supporting benefits audits.
• Ability to identify process improvements and work collaboratively across departments.
