Survey Party Chief

We are looking for an experienced Survey Party Chief to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in construction surveying, is proficient with Carlson survey software and is committed to producing accurate, high quality work while leading a safe and efficient team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person survey crew on construction projects.
• Perform construction staking, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and layout.
• Operate GPS and robotic total station equipment.
• Utilize Carlson Survey software for field-to-finish data collection and stakeout.
• Read and interpret construction plans and survey data.
• Collect accurate field data and complete required documentation.
• Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Survey Party Chief required.
• Proficiency using Carlson Survey software required.
• Proficient with GPS and robotic total station equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and survey data.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Must be a self-starter.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record – Company truck is provided.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical work.
