Cleaning Technician

We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaning Technician in the Garland, TX area.

This position requires professionalism, integrity and consistency in maintaining a secure and clean environment.

Department of Public Safety Facility

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

This is a temporary contract position with the option to apply directly at the completion of the temporary term.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Emptying trash.
• Dusting surfaces.
• Sweeping/mopping/vacuuming floors.
• Thorough wipe-down of all high-touch surfaces.
• Disinfecting restrooms.
• Restocking products such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Follow all safety protocols.
• Use Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning tasks completed and supplies used after each shift.
• Adhere to company standards and procedures.
• Dependable.
• Honest.
• Strong work ethic.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
