Confidential Opportunity – Site Manager

North Texas (Dallas–Fort Worth Area)

Position Summary

A confidential industrial materials processing operation is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead all aspects of a high-production aggregate processing facility in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

This is not a traditional maintenance or superintendent role. We are looking for a proven leader who thrives in complex startup environments, understands how to stabilize underperforming operations, and is willing to be a true boots-on-the-ground leader. The successful candidate will drive safety, production, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement while building a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience operating and commissioning wash plants, crushing and screening operations, and heavy industrial processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead all day-to-day site operations with full responsibility for safety, production, maintenance, quality, and financial performance.

·        Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

·        Manage startup, optimization, and continuous improvement of wash plant operations.

·        Supervise plant personnel, contractors, and support staff while building a culture of accountability and ownership.

·        Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency.

·        Monitor operating costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.

·        Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

·        Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and implement long-term corrective actions.

·        Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards throughout the facility.

·        Collaborate with executive leadership on capital improvements, operational strategy, and future expansion.

Qualifications

·        10+ years of aggregate, mining, quarry, or heavy industrial processing experience.

·        Previous experience managing wash plants, crushing, screening, or similar material processing operations.

·        Demonstrated success leading plant startups, turnarounds, or major operational improvements.

·        Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of conveyors, pumps, screens, crushers, dewatering systems, and material handling equipment.

·        Experience leading maintenance planning and preventative maintenance programs.

·        Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and retain high-performing teams.

·        Strong budgeting, scheduling, and operational planning experience.

·        Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

·        Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced operating environment.

Preferred Experience

·        Aggregate or mining operations.

·        Wash plant optimization.

·        Equipment commissioning and startup.

·        Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.

·        Heavy equipment fleet management.

·        Process optimization and production planning.

What We're Looking For

·        Leads by example and is highly visible in the field.

·        Takes ownership of operational performance.

·        Is comfortable solving difficult problems under pressure.

·        Understands both people and equipment.

·        Builds systems rather than relying on reactive maintenance.

·        Can develop a strong operating culture while improving production and profitability.

·        Has the experience and confidence to take a complex operation to the next level.
