Maintenance Tech - Nonferrous System

This position is responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of the metal separating machines that make up the Non-ferrous Separation Plant. This role involves regular checks, addressing any jams or issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ECS and finder systems.

Key responsibilities

• Hourly inspections ensuring all components are greased and running smooth
• Machine restart checks, taking extra care to check all belts, vibratory feeders, compressors, etc.
• Clean-up activities including shoveling dirt
• Filling out daily maintenance reports

Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining and monitoring industrial equipment and PLC's
• Knowledge of ECS and finder systems
• Ability to perform routine checks and address jams or issues promptly
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a face paced environment
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company protocols
• High school diploma or GED
