The Ready Mix Batch Plant Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of concrete batch plants by maintaining and repairing equipment. This position involves working within a maintenance team to keep machinery, including concrete mixer trucks, running efficiently and safely. The role demands hands-on mechanical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance. Flexibility to work overtime during peak production and travel between various plant sites is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on batch plant equipment and concrete mixer trucks
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and effectively
• Carry out safety checks to ensure compliance with operational standards
• Replace worn or defective parts as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Collaborate closely within the maintenance team

Required Qualifications
