Toddler/Pre-School Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, caring, and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position works with children 12 months to 5 years old, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, has a positive attitude, enjoys working with young children, and is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences while maintaining a welcoming classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and instruction for children ages 12 months to 5 years.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Follow all licensing regulations, center policies, and health and safety procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education in Early Childhood Education.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to continuing education in Early Childhood Education.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Caring, patient, dependable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Flexible and willing to work the required schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant childcare or preschool experience.
• CDA credential preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances.
• Ability to meet all state licensing requirements.
