Job Description
Position: MIG Welder
Location: Suwanee, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with overtime as needed
Pay: $18.78/hr, with potential increase upon full-time conversion
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary
We are hiring a MIG Welder for a client in the Suwanee, GA area. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for producing quality welds on a variety of materials in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on MIG welding experience and is looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to blueprints and specifications
Inspect welds for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols
Perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
Must Haves
Proven MIG welding experience
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation to the Suwanee, GA area
Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred Skills
Experience with other welding processes (TIG, stick)
Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
